My wife Coleen and I met Chuck and Nancy Koucky many, many years ago while we all were young & doing out-door art shows.  Chuck was a potter, and Nancy a weaver.  We immediately became best friends and have remained that way through all the years each watching our children grow.  The Koucky's have remained active with the arts through the years being owners and operators of art galleries from Charlevoix Michigan, to Naples Florida.  All this time Chuck has had an avid love of sailing  earning his Captain status early on and has owned several boats through the years.  Now, they both can be found in their Studios in Bokeelia, Pine Island Florida, where Nancy is still active in the arts, computer graphics and designing web sites. ( www.nrkdesigns.com  ) and Chuck is still active teaching his pottery.    But 'Captain Chuck' has also arrived to his dream, with the "Alondra", his beautiful 47 foot Herreshoff design classic wooden sailboat.  Here is where his adventurous heart is and here is where he spends most of his time.  You may share Captain Chuck's joy as he offers Sailing lessons and/or Custom Cruises with "Pine Island Sailing" on the "Alondra" in the beautiful southwest waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  For more information contact; USCG Capt.
