Original Painting Sold

Remember when we had to save back a quart of water to use in priming the ole pump, or even to heat up and thaw it out on cold winter mornings? Now with these days long gone the old pump still stands in the back garden as a yard ornament.  In this painting the birds use it as a perch while jockeying for position in competition for a mate, or for the bucket of cool spring water.
