The wild turkeys have survived in abundance throughout  the United States not only by the birds ability to co-exist with the modern world alone.  It also has happened through the tremendous efforts and management of organizations like the Wild Turkey Federation. This painting was painted especially for The National Wild Turkey Federation in 2002.
