Ah yes, small community Churches, this is one of my favorite subjects to paint . . . this is mainstream America. There are many in our area and still in operation and very active with the local communities. As is the Rural Free Mail Delivery service. I often pass by the local mail delivery person while I'm out scouting painting subjects as the one topping the hill in this painting. The girl in the foreground at the mail box is actually my lovely wife Coleen,, she was kind enough to pose for me as the recipient of the mail. |
