| I have made mention of Sugar Creek before. It is a beautiful little river not far from my home and studio in southern, central, Indiana. Even making frequent trips here I find a totally different scene to paint with each visit. The water may be high, or sometimes low,,, it has been muddy, but more often crystal clear. Each season or different time of day offers you a satisfying scene to paint. In this painting the conditions couldn't have been more perfect. I was intrigued with the way the motion of the water in the stream finds it's way carving a path around the sand bars and ruins of the old mill dam. | |||
